The regatists Ignacio Murube, Olivia Sánchez, Julia García, Curro Simbad Llorca and the team of the Ilca class, receive recognition of their club in the annual Sport Gala

The Club Náutico Sevilla has celebrated its already traditional Gala del Sporte, an event that this Thursday reached its eighteenth edition to pay tribute to its most prominent representatives of last season. And as is customary in the Spanish entity, at the beginning of the new Olympic cycle to the Games of Los Angeles 2028 they have not failed in the relationship of award-winning athletes who have successfully walked the name of the Nautico, the Andalusian capital, the community and even Spain in sailing, rowing, pyragüism, basketball and swimming.

Accompanied to the Board of Directors chaired by Cayetano García de la Borbolla Vallejo, the presidents of the Andalusian Federation of Remo and Natación, Fernando Briones and Francisco Olmos, respectively, as well as municipal authorities, collaborating bodies of the Nautico and representatives of the Forum Interclubs of Seville, have come to the call.

As for the protagonists of the 2025 Sport Gala of the Seville Nautical Club, the palist Carlos García, silver in the World Cup of Pyragüism in K2 500 and seventh in the World Cup, and the windsurfer Olivia Sánchez Moral, champion of Europe and the World Sub15 of the Techno class, have been distinguished as MEJORES DEPORTISTAS ABSOLUTOS.

The awards to the BEST DEPORTISTAS OF THE SECTION have in turn been in the windsurfer Curro Simbad Llorca, eighth in the World of Techno up 17 and ninth in the European; the remer Bruno Cetraro, sixth in the World Cup in Skiff; the palist Elena Gomez-Millán, the subchampion of the world up 23 in C2 200, the multicampeone of Spain alevin swimming Marta Díazo-Jargüín and the basketball player Pablo Seco, captain of the male sénior team, who achieved the promotion of the third.

As MEJORES EQUIPOS, the members of the ILCA class sailing section, champions of Andalusia, the two untimonel of Jaime Canalejo and Javier García, bronze in the European and fourth in the World Row; the C4 200 of piragüism formed by Pablo Martínez, Carlos Lara, Ricardo Domínguez and Pablo García, champion of Spain, the male senior basketball team for their promotion to Third FEB and the female swimming alevin team, champion of Andalusia of summer and sixth in the Spanish Championship.

In the section of MEJORES DEPORTISTAS PROMESAS, the Andalusian sailing subchampion in the class ILCA 4 Ignacio Murube, the world subchampion Jorge Knabe, the multiple national canoe medalist Alvaro Pedrosa and the regional swimming medalist Marco Segovia were awarded in male category. And in the female category, the awards were received by the Spanish subchampion of windsurfing sub13 Julia García, the international shirt Olivia del Castillo, fourth in the World Cup sub23; the palist Teresa Vázquez, third in the Andalusian ranking, the basketball players Adriana Schutte and Clara González, with achievements at the provincial and regional levels, and the Spanish champion of swimming Angela Martínez.

In completing the relationship of awarded awards, the SOLIDARIO PRIMIO has corresponded to Brazadas Solidarias, collected by the partner and swimmer of the Náutico María Prior in recognition of the work that this association does with projects of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation in India raising funds through a circuit of swings that has already held up to eight tests in the Sevillian club itself.

For its part, the international Carlota Blanca, who, despite being a young man, participated last season with the absolute selection of paracanoa in the World Cup and the World Cup, has been made with the SPECIAL MENTION TO DEPORTIVE SUPERATION.

Finally, in which it was certainly the most enchanting moment of the Gala, the LEYENDAS, given to athletes who for their achievements were appointed in their day Partners of Honor of the Nautico and are part of the historical memory of the entity, have recognized those who achieved such distinction between the years 1963 and 1969, five components of the rowing section and four of pyragüismo: Ana María Cruz, Nicolás Álvarez, José Narbona, Roberto Pozuelo, José Ramón García, Manuel Vera, Javier López, Fernando Leal and Gerardo López Espejo. Taking this opportunity, the Nautico Club has given its sports scholarships to the representatives of the entity who participated in the last Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, the remers Javier García, Jaime Canalejo, Bruno Cetraro and Leonor García, the palists Carolina García and Ghailene Khattali and the swimmer Mariale Bramont.
