Good premiere in Fuerteventura with the holding of three tests... Team Aqua is the first leader and Lanzarote Calero Marinas is seventh

The 44Cup Marina Jandia, for the first time, receives the fleet of RC44 monotypes, which will compete south of Fuerteventura with the Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team fully focused on its goal: to get into the head group and close the season with its best result of the year in the race in which it competes as a local team. The competition will be held from today and until next Sunday day 23... Marina Jandía is a new marina developed by Calero Marinas and that hosts for the first time a high-level international test.

Team Aqua is the first dominator of the 44Cup Marina Jandia on an inaugural day where a 1-3-2 was marked, which places it in the head of the fleet, although followed very closely to one point by the circuit leader, Team Nika, who ended the day with a 4-2-1. To the two Swedish teams, Artemis Racing and Gerema Racing tied to points, four of the leader. The Calero Marinas Sailing Team made three good exits, which showed a great improvement, although two penalties one in the first and the second tests of the day, made him lose positions, at the end of the day his positions were 9-6-7, placing himself in seventh position, tied with the sixth that is the Peninsula Petroleum.

The south of Fuerteventura has shown why it is called to become an international reference for high performance sailing. The conditions present during the training drew a complex and exciting scenario. Rachas channeled through the mountains, creating very different pressure zones. Large rolls that require strategy adjustment every few seconds. Short and irregular Atlantic Chop, which demands precision in tribado and government. Immediate access to the open sea from Marina Jandia, allowing quick and effective maneuvers. A perfect ground for the 44Cup to display its essence: speed, technical demand and direct duel between top-level teams.
