Two weeks after its celebration, the organizers of the Golden Cup Badalona already have a figure of more than 60 cruises. On Friday, October 31, the fleet of height will be set off for the 60-mile long race, on Saturday, November 1, it will be the turn of the ORC fleet that will carry out several short tests.
about 18 nautical miles in which both fleets will compete in the same race field off the Badalonese coast.

On the other hand, among the fleet of mallorquins coming to compete with Badalona, the Jau!, the new J36, the recent evolution of the American shipyard of the mythical J112, double winner of the world of ORC and also winner of the
European championship. At the wheel will be Guillermo Altadill, one of the great high-rise sailors of the country, who, with 2 shares in the Volvo Ocean Race and 2 in the Whitbread, has 6 circumnavigations and 18 crosses from the Atlantic to its stern.

Another illustrious navigator who will be present at the Golden Cup Badalona is Iñaki Castañer, in whose palmarés stand out 10 world titles in different categories, 12 Atlantic transvestites and 10 national titles. Iñaki will compete on board the Intrigue, a Swan 56 from Joaquin Verona that won the third place in the Giraglia 2024. The Yellow Rose team, X35 by Marten Jan Ringers, has also confirmed their participation
to defend the title they hold as current champions of the Golden Cup Badalona in the last two editions. The Dutch of the Yellow Rose are the spearhead of a growing participation of teams from northern Europe and will be led in this edition
by Frans Rodenburg, on board the Elke, Wim Vandersande del Saiola X, Jan-Pieter Botman del Tramendu and Glenn de Brouwer with the Diabolic.

The Golden Cup Badalona will put the final brooch to the Ausmar 2025 Regatas Circuit and will decide the winner among the 22 teams in liza. In addition, the long race will be noticeable for the ORC de Catalunya Championship of Height.
