For the Monte Real Club de Baiona the Cidade da Coruña de Vela Women

The crew of Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona capitalized by Carlota Hernández García with Candela Alonso Pereira, Maria Casal Molares, María Núñez Rodríguez and Paula Correa Sánchez, has proclaimed themselves the absolute winner of the last sailing event of the Abanca Week and first of the concept A Coruña Náutical Festival: the Cidade da Coruña de Vela Femenina Trofeo Isabel Zendal, in an event that has had the organization of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, which is already preparing to celebrate its first 100 years of existence.
The four sides of each group prior to the great final, had a lot of tension in the last sleeves of each of the two groups, with the two Basque crews being classified: Getxo and San Sebastian... and the two Gallegos: Baiona and La Coruña; which were the ones that formed the great final. The Coruñesa ría, joined the feast of the female candle, offering its best face, with the sea without a sorrowful wave and with winds from the south that at times remained in the 12 to 15 knots, with rachas of about 20.
The one who did not fail was the Sofia Toro gold medal, which had been put on very complicated things to enter the gold group... and the coruñesa demonstrated its enormous quality, with a victory in which it was the fourth manga of its group. In a similar line, the other Basque patron, Olazt Muñoz of the Royal Nautical Club of San Sebastián, was first in his group and was also in the final.
For his part, Carlota Hernández of Mount Real Club de Yates de Baiona was second and achieved his goal. They were left out of the gold group: Real Club Náutico Puerto Pollensa de Mallorca with Pilar Casares to the commanders, the crew of the Spanish Navy and the canarian crew, headed by Cristina Martínez Doreste, who despite its high quality did not find his place in this Cidade da Coruña de Vela female.

From there to the great final, with two tests of four... in which the winds went from the west with 12 knots; and in which the pontevedresas did not leave a loophole for their victory, for they achieved two first in the two sleeves. On the other hand, those of Sofía Toro who were in the second and final sleeve last after a bad exit, went back to get in the second place... but were advanced by Getxo's crew, in the last built-in... losing the podium position in which it was located at the time. In the end gold for the regatists of Baiona, silver for those of Joana Abasola of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club and bronze for the Real Club Náutico de San Sebastián with Olazt Muñoz to the controls... the fourth Sofia Toro of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña remained at the doors of the podium.
In the consolation group, the best was Pilar Casares of the Real Club Náutico de Puerto Pollensa de Mallorca, followed by the crew of the Spanish Navy, closing the classification the Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria with Cristina Martínez Doreste de patrona.
