The fifth edition of the Iberdrola League was closed today in the waters of Calpe Bay with a marathon day that has crowned the girls of the Solgreen, with gallardete of the Real Club Náutico Valencia and the Club Náutico Arenal, as new Spanish women's sailing champions. The crew led by Elena de Tomás has been imposed at the end of this national circuit, which have co-organized the Real Federación Española de Vela and the Real Club Náutico Calpe, although the Surne and the Unisa have been better in the qualifying round

The 14 teams and 70 women in the Iberdrola League final - figures that record participation - have been called at the Royal Calpe Nautical Club first thing in the morning, to start the tests at 10: 00 in the malana

The ten qualifying sleeves have been held with medium but demanding winds for the Tom 28 monotypes of the Calpe RCN, thus the ability of the crews in this type of conditions has come into play. The Bilbaíno Surne, of the RCMA-RSC, has been the most solid team and with a second and three partial triumphs has accessed the Races Medal in the position of honor, followed by the Unisa of the Calpe RCN and the Solgreen of the RCN Valencia and CN Arenal. The RCNGC Team of the RCN Gran Canaria, the Sailing Point of the CN Altea and the Ganbatte of the RCN Calpe have also achieved the pass to these finals.

In the Races Medal, the Solgreen has put on a tempere and with two seconds and a quarter has managed to rise with the victory of the final in Calpe. With this triumph the combined team of RCN Valencia and CN Arenal, formed by Elena de Tomás, Martina Lodos, Obdulia Fernández, Sarai de Tomás and Andrea Perelló, also seals the title of Spanish women's sailing champions, as winners of the Iberdrola League 2025, taking over from the team of CN Arenal that defeated last year.

In the final of Calpe, the Unisa de Sara Momplet, one of the two local teams, has gone up to the second drawer of the podium, which is only three points away from the victors. The RCNGC Team of the RCN Gran Canaria, led by Inés Martin- Urda, has completed the podium. In the classification of the circuit, after the Solgreen Team RCNGC has taken the title of Spanish subchampions, while the bronze has been for the RCMA-RSC Surne, with Joana Abasola to the cane.
