The Bavaria 34 Smaku of the Bouzas Maritime Licensing, patronized by Alfonso Rodríguez in the A2 category, and the Cactus Digital Petrilla of the Portonovo Nautical Club with a crew composed of Jaime Barreiro, Victor Ayan and Javier Porto in A3; they proclaimed themselves winners of the first edition of the Spanish Open of Reduced Tripulations, which was framed in the Abanca Week ended in Sanxenxo, was successfully organized by the Portonovo Nautical Club.
Despite the difficulties due to the lack of wind in the pontevedresa era, judges Pedro Fernández Alarcón and Miguel Cons, with impeccable work, managed to make the first edition of the Vila Trophy of Portonovo of Reduced Tripulations valid. To highlight in the debuting category of A3 in Galician waters in an official race, to ships such as Meu d Jose Luis Smyth, to the Taurus patrolled by Margarita Sanmartin of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo (which was component of the Hello in the legendary Vuelta to Spain, was the only patron of the fleet) and the Cassandra of Javier Pazó Olmedo, who completed the top ten.
