The champion of the national ranking and the Spanish Cup of J70 has been Luis Bugallo Arriola, patron of the Marnatura of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, which has Enrique Freire as shipowner

The MarNatura de Luis Bugallo, of the Real Club Náutico de Vigo, has been proclaimed champion of the J70 Spanish Cup, held this weekend in Barcelona waters. The meeting, which has brought together 17 teams from Spain, Germany and Hungary, was held jointly with the second event of the International Barcelona Winter Series, under the organization of the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, along with the Real Federació Española de Vela, Federació Catalana de Vela and the Association of Owners of J70.

During three intense days, the crews from the Canary Islands, Galicia, Catalonia, Baleares, Comunitat Valenciana and other points in Europe offered a very high level show, completing nine tests of the twelve programmed, with a discards in play. The opening day of Friday began with a deckled sky and soft winds of the southeast from 5 to 7 knots. The Bodegas Can Marlès took off leading the classification (1st -1st -7th), followed by Noticia, by Luis Martín Cabiedes (RCN Barcelona), and the HSN Sailing Team.

On Sunday MarNatura won the first and finished 13th in the second, which he could rule out to secure the title. The final podium was completed by Noticia (2nd) and April Verde de Luis Pérez Canal (3rd). In the Corinthian category, MarNatura also rose with the victory, followed by Green April and Hang Ten, second and third respectively.
