The social, sports and cultural event, organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia, was presented on Thursday at the College of the Major Art of the Silk

The 2025 Silk Route begins a new singlature. It does so with the completion, the official presentation from the historic Colegio del Arte Mayor de la Silk, an emblematic setting that symbolizes centuries of trade, culture and artisanal excellence, a 15th century building that contains a very important heritage wealth and one of the icons of València.

The Valencian meeting, which has this social, sports and cultural aspect, is organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia, with the collaboration of the Iberian Club Es Nàutic, the College of the Greater Art of Silk and Advanced Sails, mainly. A long-standing test this next Thursday, October 9, coinciding with the big day of the Valencia Community and which has a fleet of 27 ships, so the whole sign is back hanging. The Silk Road Regata aims to become a reference, combining sport, tourism, history and culture, and placing València and the Colegio del Arte Mayor de la Silk on the epicenter of a legendary journey.

The event was attended by Luis Cervera, Director General of Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana; Gonzalo Julián Orduña, President of the College of the Major Art of the Silk; Nacho Ortí, of Advanced Sails; Andrés Arlandis, President of the RCN of Valencia, accompanied by his Board of Directors, among other personalities. The Colegio del Arte Mayor de la Silk, with its centuries of history linked to trade and artisanal excellence, thus becomes the ideal starting point for a race that goes beyond sports and that recalls that the oceans have always been paths of encounter, exchange and discovery.
