Sled won in Porto Cervo and American Magic won its seventh absolute champion crown of the 52 Super Series

The 2025 season of the 52 Super Series was fired with a blank day for lack of wind on the Esmeralda Coast of Sardinia. The Sled of the shipowner and tymonel Takashi Okura was proclaimed winner of the last event of the season, the 52 Super Series-Porto Cervo-Range Rover, and the American Magic Quantum Racing by Doug DeVos achieved his seventh title as absolute champion of the Planetary Circuit reaffirming his condition as the most lauded team in the history of the circuit.

The final day in Porto Cervo, left a bitter taste among the fleet that competed on the Esmeralda Coast for the last event of the season. After completing seven magnificent tests in the first four days of competition in the waters of Sardinia, the last session was scheduled for three rounds, but the wind did not help. The Regatas Committee led by the alicantina María Torrijo tried everything until 14: 30, but finally gave up the results of the previous day.

Grand Final 52SuperSeries... the solution tomorrow to three rounds in Porto Cervo

After four days of competition and seven tests, the American Sled shows the best numbers. The ship of Takashi Okura, winner of the event disputed in these waters in 2019 and leader from the first day, remains in front of the provisional despite having added a six in today's test. Ahead of the South African Phoenix of Tina and Hasso Plattner and of the British Alegre, armed and patronized by Andy Soriano

The fourth session of the 52 Super Series- Porto Cervo-Range Rover was a change of pace for the 13 ships from ten countries competing for the last event of the year. The hard mistral of the previous days gave way to a breeze around the ten knots that was taken advantage of by Thai Vayu to score his first partial victory of the season, but that prevented completion of the planned program. Sled continues to lead Porto Cervo, now with six points of advantage over Phoenix, while American Magic arrives at the last day of the season with 21 points of rent at the head of the provisional and approaches to which would be his seventh crown of absolute champion of the Planetary Circuit. Everything will be resolved on Saturday in an exciting final to three rounds in the incomparable frame of the Esmeralda sarda Coast.

The wind on the Esmeralda sarda Coast reduced its intensity and allowed it to meet the ambitious three-test program in the third day of competition of the 52 Super Series- Porto Cervo-Range Rover, last event of the season. The American Sled started the day with an 11 for a costly penalty, but made up for it with a second and a first that allows it to keep the lead and keep South African Phoenix, the team that signed the best card of the day, four points away. An irregular American Magic occupies the eighth square and has lost more than half of its advantage over Sled in the battle in being the master of the Planetary Circuit of 2025.

2025-09-25: Grand Final 52SuperSeries... Sled is in the first square

The second day of the 52 Super Series- Porto Cervo-Range Rover was marked by a mistral wind that advanced the start of the competition, tested the ability of the crews and forced to reduce the program of the day. The American Sled was the best in a test with winds over 25 knots and consolidates his position at the front of the provisional at this great end of the Planetary Circuit.

The Regata Committee was right to advance the first test of the day at 10: 30. The forecast indicated that the mistral wind would increase in intensity as the hours progressed, which jeopardized the navigability of the TP52... and was fulfilled. Sled leads regularly in the start of the large final of the 52 Super Series 2025

The first day of the 52 Super Series- Porto Cervo-Range Rover was filled with two good races, with victories of Platoon Aviation and Alpha +, and removed from the German ship after being bounced by Gladiator. The American Sled is the first leader of the provisional thanks to its regularity in the waters of Sardinia, and has managed to scratch 12 points to American Magic to add an extra of emotion to the battle for the title
2025 in this last race of the season.

In addition to the two partials that premiere the lockers of Porto Cervo, Sled is the first leader of the week. With a quarter and a second, the American shipowner and puppet Takashi Okura, with Francesco Bruni's tactic and Murray Jones's strategy, heads the provisional.
