The Nautical Dummies Club of Ourense, was declared the absolute winner of the Iberian Open of Nautical Skiing and its emerging disciplines: Wakeboard and Wakesurf; which was held at the International Pista del Miño in Cortegada, with about 80 riders from several points in Spain, having in play the Grand Prix Receptación de Ourense, immersed in the Abanca Week... the multinational event referred to in our country. The club of the City of Burgas, was made with 6 oros, 4 cans and 3 bronces, and the competition was successfully organized by the Galician Federation of Esquí Náutico, with the support of the Spanish, as well as the Secretariat of Sports of the Xunta de Galicia.

After the nautical ski competitions; the Abanca Week continues with competitions in Castrelo de Miño (sailing and pyragüismo) and in La Coruña (sailing) for the next delivery of the next weekend; a program in which the Clinic April of sailing and pyragüismo are highlighted, which will be given by Ero Pons (technical of the Spanish Olympic Team) and Alvaro Fernández Fiuza (winner 7 times of the Sella descent, and twice the world and European champion).

Great atmosphere in that wonder of nature that is the thermal villa of Cortegada, which with a perfect day in when the conditions of the meteor received the participants, who began the successive tandas to the edge of 9: 30 in the morning. The organizers with excellent criteria set up two independent tracks: one for skiing and one for the wake disciplines... what was necessary, for the double range of competition for the high number of athletes.

The tandas took place with a small paron for lunch, without pause until 7: 00 in the afternoon... with victory in Náutico Skiquí-Hipermini for Nicolas Figueiredo, in Mini Slalon was Juan Pinal the winner, and in Sub17 the cat was taken to the water Simoneta Suárez (the three of the Dummies of Ourense). For his part in Slalom Open Nicolás Reguera del Arcade was the winner, while in Slalom Open the best was the vineyard Ruy Andrade.

In wakeboard the oros were for Paco Riveras, Raquel Rodas del San Telmo de Tui, Marina Dugo del Náutico Entrepeñas de Guadalajara, while among the senior Miguel Vázquez del Dummies was imposed... by completing the Spanish manchegos del Entrepeñas, with two first in the female category with Marina Dugo and Pablo Dugo.

To highlight the interest of this Iberian Open of the Abanca Week, considered on this occasion as the previous of the Spanish Championships of Nautical Skiing, which will have its development in the next days 27 and 28 organized by the Nautical Skiing Club of Madrid, in the Embalse del Cerro de Alarcon, with the best Spanish Riders, many of which have competed in Cortegada by the hand of the Seputación de Ourense, which continues to bet with its president Luis Menor to the front, for the development of the nautical sports in the inland waters of Sanouras.
