The 2025-26 season of the J70 monotypes begins this week in the waters of the Catalan capital. International Barcelona Winter Series is the name that receives the winter race that will start this weekend and end in March. The event will always take place from Friday to Sunday with a program of 12 sleeves per series... the 25 registered ships from 7 countries: Hungary, United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, France, Denmark and Spain... the first departure of this series is scheduled for Friday 19 at 1.

National teams include the participation of the HSN Sailing Team, the current Open of Spain champion and the European Champion corinthian with the grancanaries Javier Padron, as patron; Luis Martínez Doreeste as tactical; Adolfo López Quevedo as responsible for the bow maneuver and the llanzaroteño Ricardo Terrades as trimmer. HangTen-Hnos Berga, current Corinthian European subchampion of Jorge Marínez Doreeste, Món Cañellas and Alberto Guillén. Bodegas Can Marlés with Angel Blázquez and Alejandro Pérez. In addition to the Barcelonese Cobra, Gunter, Duc in Altum,... other known ships of the fleet such as Let it Be de Marcelo Baltzer and Juan Calvo of Denia, the Gallegos Bodegas Villanueva and Corre- Kessler are reincorporated into this inaugural series. The foreign tripulations include the Germans Grun, Diva, Lotte and Juju, the Austrian Hantom 7, or the English Seriousfun.
