The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia today has closed an important chapter and will remain in the history of the institution. The voting partners, around 1,700, were called today to elect the Board of Directors to lead the entity in the next four years.

After making official the candidacies for the Presidency by the partners interested in leading the institution in the first week of August, with the candidacies presented by Andrés Arlandis Fos, Marisa Arlandis Pardo and Jaime Lloris Asensio today was the time of truth.

At 0830 hours the ballot boxes were officially opened. A day that has taken place within an outstanding normality and in which the main note has been the high participation of the partners. At 8 a.m. the election table closed the call and proceeded to the count of votes.

Following the scrutiny of the ballot papers in the ballot box, the results have produced the following data: Andrés Arlandis Fos has obtained 297 votes, Jaime Lloris Asensio 246 and Marisa Arlandis Pardo 168. After the period established for possible claims and resolutions, the Electoral Board will formally announce to the President and its Board of Directors that it will manage the future of the entity in the coming days.
