The Andalusian Vela Campus for the ILCA class successfully culminates a week of high technical level and co-existence in the Specialized Centre for Sports Tecnification of Vela Bahia de Cadiz

The Andaluz de Vela Campus for the ILCA class, held from 25 to 31 August at the Specialized Centre for Sports Tecnification of Vela Bahia de Cadiz, concluded with a very positive balance by both the organizers and the participants. The meeting brought together 27 Andalusian regatists - 14 boys and 13 girls - of the classes ILCA 4 and ILCA 6, from eight nautical clubs throughout Andalusia, in an intense week of formation, coexistence and technification.

The meeting officially started on Monday, August 25, at 7: 00 p.m. with a welcome meeting at which the weekly programme, the rules of the centre and the calendar of activities were presented. The first day ended with a group dinner at Tres Vientos restaurant, where the rest of the meals were also served on campus.

The technical team was led by Antonio Coronilla and Fernando Yrayzoz, and was assisted by first-level experts such as Rafael Serrano Bohórquez "Luky," an international judge who offered a training session specialized in Rule 42 of the Regatas a Sela Regatas (RRV), and Anton Garrote, an international technical expert of the Olympic class ILCA 7, who gave a complete technical session focused on the optimization of performance.
