World Youth Kitesurf Championship from September 1 to 15

Tarifa will again become the great international window of the kitesurf with the celebration of the GKA Youth World Championships 2025. From 1 to 5 September, the event will bring together the best young people on the planet in the disciplines of Freestyle Twintip and Kite-Surf, with world titles at stake in the categories U14, U16 and U19, both male and female.

It will be the only youth competition of Freestyle Twintip and Kite-Surf scheduled for 2025, which reinforces its exclusivity and makes Tarifa a must-reference circuit. In addition, it will be the fourth consecutive edition that the "European kite capital" hosts this championship, supporting the reliability of its winds and the quality of its natural scenarios.

In the Freestyle Twintip mode, a mixed format will be released that adapts to the wind conditions: with strong wind the Big Air jumps will be prioritized, while with moderate or soft wind will give more options to classic freestyle tricks. There have been 53 young people from 16 countries in Freestyle Twintip and 25 from 10 countries in Kite-Surf, figures that boast an exciting, diverse and inclusive competition. The entries are open and there is no limit of participants per category.
