Juan Luis Páez and José Vicente Citation defend titles from tomorrow in the waters of Torredembarra

The Andalusian army lands at the Spanish Steam to Sail Championship, which begins tomorrow in the waters of Torredembarra. Five regatists from our community will defend level and two of them titles. The national championship comes to its 82 edition with more than half a hundred registered.

Among the Andalusian ones are Juan Luis Páez (CN Sevilla), the current Spanish champion 2024, who arrived as one of the great favorites after shining a few days ago in the Cruise class, as a cane of the ship 'Brujo' of Federico Linares, winner of the 31st Regata Juan de la Cosa and the 54th Nautical Week of El Puerto de Santa María; and José Vicente Citation (CV Bay of Cadiz), the current champion of Spain Veterano, who will bring experience after achieving the title last year. Next to them will be Ramón Calero (CN Puerto Sherry), historical regatist and one of the most laureate of the class, Spanish champion in 2000, several times absolute subchampion, subchampion of the 2024 European Cup and regional dominator with 24 Andalusian titles.

The competition starts on Wednesday with two daily races until Saturday 30. The Andalusian protagonists start with high expectations and the ambition to add new titles to their palmaris.
