The windsurfer of the Club Náutico Sevilla Olivia Sánchez Moral revalid intercontinental title sub15 in Wales, where Curro Simbad Llorca achieves place in the top ten sub17
The regatist of the Club Náutico Sevilla Olivia Sánchez Moral has added a new international title to her palmarés this weekend after she proclaimed herself a world champion sub15 of the Techno class. It has done so to revalidate the crown already conquered last year after confirming the forecasts in the competition held since August 18 in the Welsh town of Pwllheli, where a total of 260 athletes were quoted.
Confirming its role as a great favorite in its category, directed at girls born in the years 2011 and 2012, the Spanish club's windsurfer has been made with victory unappealable in British waters after accumulating only 17 points in the 15 completed sleeves, the maximum expected in a global test developed with winds of all kinds of 8 to 15 knots of medium intensity. For this, and despite the start of the World Cup with a feverish process that has been recovered day after day and which resulted in a 19th place in the start of the championship, one of its two discards, Olivia Sánchez Moral achieved partial victory in nine sleeves and five seconds in the remaining ones to not give choice to its rivals, among which only the Greek Iliana Panagi, subchampion with 31 points, has kept the pulse, by the 48 of the Latvian Marta Leva Dale, classified third.
The sportsman led by the technician Fernando García Iglesias adds this title to the above-mentioned gold last year in the World Cup of Techno sub15 to increase a palmaris in which it also has two European crowns in line with the modality, the last one conquered in April in Italy; in addition to a world silver and a European bronze in the category sub13. And in other ways of windsurfing, in 2025 it has climbed to the third podium drawer in the Youth Wingfoil World in freefly- slalom and in 2025 it was proclaimed absolute world champion and sub21 raceboard class champion.
Also from the Spanish Nautico, Beltrán Parrado finished 12th, Miguel Serrano (37th), Alfredo Mainar (41st), Blanca Montañés (32nd) and Julia Fernández (35th), all Sub 17, in addition to the sub15 Ana García Gayoso (15th). Juan Melendez of the CN Puerto Sherry signs a 16th meritorio in Sub 13, and his club companions, Inés Vázquez Reina (20), Sergio López Menchero (22), in Sub 17, and Dimas Sánchez 24 in Sub 19.
