Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team represents Spanish at the 44Cup World Cup

The Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team, the only Spanish team on the 44Cup circuit, starts this week in the World Championship in Scheveningen (Netherlands), which will start with the trial day on August 27 and will be officially held from August 28 to 31. The fleet of 12 units RC44 will meet for the first time in the Netherlands, at the heart of the nautical culture of Scheveningen, the seat of the North Sea Regatta and stage in 2023 of the Olympic Sailing World Championships.
After the first three events of the season, the Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team occupies the tenth overall position with 29 points. The project has the support of Tourism of Lanzarote and the Centres of Art, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, which accompany the team with the Spanish flag. Calero Marinas and Calmar are also added as strategic partners in port management and logistics; EquipYacht as a supplier of technical equipment of race; Alegre Travels responsible for travel logistics; Harken, Gottifredi Maffioli and North Sails as official technical suppliers; and the international financial support of Lanzarote Investment and John D. Wood & Co.
