The Port of Santa María and the Gaditana Bay have since tomorrow become the epicenter of the cruise sail, with the celebration of the thirty-first edition of the Regata Juan de la Cosa and the Nautical Week of El Puerto de Santa María, which passes from the half century in four years. Organized by the Royal Nautical Club of El Puerto de Santa María, both tests will bring together more than 40 ships, far from the high figures from the 1980s to the 1990s, but in a frank improvement in the last editions.

On Friday there will be two decisive tests for the John of the Thing, whose trophies will be delivered at night in Bodegas Caballero. The fleet will continue to compete on Saturday and Sunday at the Nautical Week, which will culminate in the delivery of the longed Golden Catavino in La Cabaña, restaurant of the remembered Gaditano businessman Pablo Grosso.
In addition to the absolute and class titles, special awards will be given such as the Southern Rural Caja Foundation Trophy, the Vistahermosa Trophy and the first mixed crew.
