The terraces of the Royal Nautical Club of El Puerto de Santa María welcomed the official presentation of two of the most emblematic races of the summer calendar of the Bay of Cadiz: the 31 Regata Juan de la Cosa and the 54 Nautical Week of El Puerto de Santa María, which will be held from August 21 to 24. The Nautical Week is a remarkable race for the 'Circuito' Andalusian Championship and the Cup and the Spanish Cruise Championship, and the Juan de la Cosa is also a qualifying race for the Andalusian Cruise Championship in the new family mode.
On Thursday, August 21, there will be a simultaneous beginning of the race of tribute to the insignia cartographer Juan de la Cosa and the most ancient race of Cruise in Spain known as the "dean." From that day on, the crews will compete for four days; two to meet the winner of the thirty-one edition of the race Juan de La Cosa and until Sunday 24 to discover the winner of the gold catavan of cruise number fifty-four, trophies that defends the ship 'Brujo' of the shipowner Federico Linares based on the RCN of Cadiz.
