Leo Molina (optimist), Daniel Martínez (Ilca4) and Manuel García (Ilca6) win Melilla

The fifth edition of the Royal Club Marítimo-Melilla City of Sport Trophy has concluded in Spanish autonomous laciudad waters with victories of Leo Molina (CM Almería) of optimist, while Daniel Martínez (CN Los Nietos) and Manuel García (CAR Infanta Cristina) have won the victories in Ilca4 and Ilca6.

The competition in honor of the unforgettable president of the Club Melillense, José Manuel Calzado, was held in front of the beaches of the Hipópica and Hipódrome, with a tour consisting of two sections of girded and stern. Hugo Sarmiento (CM Almeria) declared himself the winner of the Memorial, followed by Ruben del Río (CNM Benalmádena) and Martín Aguilar (CNM Benalmádena) in the Optimist class. In Ilca4, Daniel Martínez took the victory, while José Manuel Martín (RNM Benalmádena) won in Ilca6.

At 15: 30, the championship was concluded, with the ratings of Saturday as final. In the Optimist class, Leo Molina was proclaimed champion, followed by Mariano Sarmiento (CM Almeria) and Martín Aguilar (CNM Benalmádena). In Ilca4, Daniel Martínez (CN Los Nietos) stood out as champion, with Pedro Castaño (RCR Cartagena) and Carlos Alonso (CM Almería) completing the podium. In Ilca6, Manuel García (CAR Infanta Cristina) was in all sleeves, being the champion, with Lucas Martín (RC El Candado) and Rosario Nieto (CN Los Nietos) second and third, respectively.

The Concello de A Pobra has again been the first stage chosen by the Rías Baixas Regata for its presentation. The sixty-second edition will be from August 14 to 17, and will bring together a figure in the surrounding 40 ships for the most pessimistic and 50 for the optimistic. The great novelty will be the presence of the Nautical Club of Portonovo, which is chaired by the new president of CEACNA, Javier Ruiz de Cortázar; the Vigo-Portonovo will be the first of the four stages scheduled with A Pobra of third base, after Vigo and Portonovo.
