Antonio Medina takes over the iQFoil World Cup and leads the Spanish team as best Sub-19 in Brest

The Andalusian windsurfer Antonio Medina, of the Real Club El Candado, has shone at the iQFoil Youth & Junior World Cup held in Brest, France, a meeting that brought together 379 regatists from 36 countries. In the male category Sub-19, Medina achieved a prominent 16th position in the general category, being the best Spanish in his class. The Malagasy regatist was able to access the demanding gold group after a very solid phase of classification, although a 20-point penalty for overweight in his harness (60 grams) prevented him from reaching the final medal race. Despite this setback, Medina was satisfied with her performance.
