The Circuito Regatas Ausmar is composed of five high and coastal navigation tests, distributed throughout the year and at different points of the Mediterranean: from the Costa Brava to Ibiza, through Mallorca and the Catalan, Tarraconian and Valencian coast. With the first three races already disputed, the leaders of the competition are already profiled. The Sal Rumbo Ibiza route, with exits from Port Ginesta and RCN Denia and arrival in front of the Náutic Sant Antoni Club in Ibiza, opened the circuit at Easter. The route of the Tramuntana followed, between the CN El Balís and the CN L'Cscale, with a double coastal tour of the spectacular Costa Brava. In June, the competition set out for Mallorca in the Bay of Pollença Regata, which leads the ships of Port Ginesta to the RCN Port of Pollença, in the north of the island.
To this day, 17 boats already score in the circuit classification. At the front is Pecas-X, Jod35 of Pep Navarro, with 113 points, followed very closely, with 110 points, by the Nirvana Trea, Hanse 470E of José Martin Santiago, while the Suhail, Malbec 360 of Toni Ripoll, occupies the third position with 91 points. With two tests still at stake and the possibility to rule out results, everything is to be decided.
The next appointment will be from 11 to 13 September with the Rei Regata in Jaume. The fleet will sail from the CN Salou to travel the 110 nautical miles that separate the Tarraconian coast of the CN Santa Ponça on the island of Mallorca. The circuit will be closed with the Golden Cup Badalona on 1 and 2 November, a race that includes two 60 and 20-mile coastal tests off the coast of Badalona and Barcelona, with Marina Badalona as the base of operations.
