The Spanish Jordi Xammar and Marta Cardona have hung the silver medal of the Kiel Week in the mixed class 470, after five days of competition with demanding winds. It's his fourth consecutive podium in an excellent first season together. Silvia Mas and Alejandro de Maqua, who were also classified for the Medal Race dispute, have finished the German appointment in the tenth square.

Xammar and Cardona at the beginning of the Kiel Week accused the World Cup of tiredness, but from the third day they managed to connect with their best version and were placed in podium positions. They accessed today's Medal Race in the second position, ten points from the British Martin Wrigley and Bettine Harris, who in the qualifying series had chained four partial wins.

In the Medal Race, which was held with winds between 13 and 17 knots of intensity, the Catalan mallorcan tandem entered second, just behind the British, which thus ensured their victory at the Kiel Week. The Portuguese Diogo Costa and Carolina Joao have completed the podium, with 13 points more than the Spanish.

It is the fourth consecutive podium of this first season together for Xammar and Cardona, after being second in French Olympic Week and crowned champions of Europe and the world.
