Organizers and authorities this morning on the terrace of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, which stage the twenty-fifth edition of the Regata Infanta Elena de Vela Pesada

A total of 30 ships participate this weekend in the twenty-fifth edition of the Infanta Elena Regata, in the Coruñesa Bay, with the organization of the Real Club Náutico de La Coruña, which is the first test to be part of the President of the Xunta de Vela for cruise ships, which opens the Galician calendar.

The high-level trial of this President Trophy also includes the Monte Real de Baiona, Real Club Náutico de Sanxenxo, Real Club Náutico de Portosín and Náutico Ría de Ares. The departure of Saturday, for a coastal tour, barlovento-sotavento will be at two o'clock in the afternoon, while the Sunday test will begin at 12 o'clock. The fleet will compete for classes in ORC 0-3, ORC-4 and J-80.

In the last edition and in the class ORC 0-3 was imposed the Mirfak, patronized by Diego López, of the Naval Commission of Regates of Ferrol; and that it will also be this year on the way out and that it is one of the favorites s repeat triumph. In ORC-4 the winner was the Raygrass, of Ton Núñez (Náutico Carrumeiro de Corcubión) and is also registered this year. It should be noted that the fleet of cruises of the Nautico de Cabanas will be in the race and among them the Lambaix of Antonio Rios or the Urbapaz of Fran Edreira.
