For five stages, the pilgrims will sail through the Rías Baixas to Portosin and will end on foot their way to Santiago, enjoying cultural and gastronomic proposals in each port. This year, as a novelty, there will be a rescue exercise from Salvamento Marítimo, a guided tour of the ES Regulus and a talk on nautical safety in the framework of the Myths campaign that make water; this nautical pilgrimage, which reflects the medieval routes of the ancient pilgrims of northern Europe, is consolidated as an experience of nautical tourism, faith and Galician traditions.
The Monte Real Club de Yates organizes, for the fifth consecutive year, the Rías Baixas- Camino de Santiago Ria de Muros Noia, a unique nautical journey that has reexhausted all its squares before sailing. 52 vessels will participate in this 2025 edition, reaffirming the growing interest in this alternative formula of pilgrimage, which brings together nautical tourism, spirituality and marine culture. The initiative, which will be held from 30 June to 5 July, allows the crew to live the experience of the Way of Santiago from the sea, recovering a tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages, when pilgrims from northern Europe arrived by sea to Galicia.
