With the Iberian J80 Championship the Abanca Week is launched in the Viguese Ria

The Bouzas Maritime Liceo, in the heart of Vigo, will be the one that will launch the twenty-sixth edition of the Spanish multinational reference event: of the Abanca Week; and will do so with a new quote, such as the Iberian Championship of the J80 monotypes class, which begins at three and a half hours in the afternoon with a program of three tactical sleeves of a duration of less than one hour, each of them, in competition twenty units of the highest level of Asturias, Galicia and Portugal.
Friday day, like Saturday morning, is dedicated to security and measurement controls... for the end, to the edge of the one and a half of the afternoon, to celebrate the traditional Breefing of patterns. In total it will be a twenty of ships that compete on this occasion is this Iberian, which is also considered by the Royal Galician Federation of Vela, as an autonomous championship.

Several units from Portugal, including Mondo de Bernardo Costa del Clube de Vela Atlántico de Leixóes, as well as the J80 of Manuel María Cunha, who always fights for the first squares... in terms of the Asturian fleet, will be one of its most illustrious high-rise sailors: the ovettense Juan Luis Tuero Aller with the New Moon.
Finally, the Liceo, represented by its President Miguel Pereira, has signed an agreement of collaboration with Mario Alvarez and Manuel Esteves (from ASTRONAME, which is the Galician Association of those affected by medullary transplants and Oncohematological diseases), which among other actions will receive a donation, with part of the collection of the entries of the previous Abanca Week.
