Sitges Vela Classica... the Legacy of the Sea comes to life in the heart of the Mediterranean

Sitges Bay is preparing to become the epicenter of Mediterranean classical navigation when a new edition of the Sitges Vela Classica is held from 27 to 29 June 2025, one of the most prestigious historical boat races on the Catalan coast. Organized by the Port of Sitges and the Club Nàutic Port of Sitges, this competition has consolidated its position as one of the essential dates of the classic sailing calendar, attracting the most emblematic sailing boats and the most experienced navigators of the Western Mediterranean.

The XXVI Menorca Sant Joan Regata begins; the historic Alfonso XIII Trophy... from Barcelona to Mahón

Everything is ready for departure, so that tomorrow Thursday will sound the horn for the XXVI Regata Menorca Sant Joan- Trofeo Alfonso XIII, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona and the Club Marítimo de Mahón, destined for ships Cruciero ORC and ORC A2, and punctuable for the Spanish Championship of Height and that of Catalunya de Altura, in the categories of Solitarios and A2. The competition
It covers a 140 nautical mile tour between the ports of Barcelona and Mahon, and will be held on June 19 and 20 with the participation of more than 50 ships.

Spanish Regatists López and Navarro lead the Iberian Windsurf Slalom

It took place in the municipality of Vila Do Bispo, in southern Portugal, the first test of the Iberian Slalom-Windsurf Championship 2025. There, the young bats Alex López, (current Spanish champion of the modality) as well as the subchampion of Spain, the citizen Eduardo Navarro, had a splendid performance, reaching the first and second place respectively in the provisional classification of the Iberian Circuit of Slalom 2025.

This Iberian Slalom-Windsurf 2025 Championship is held this year in circuit format, with 3 punctuable tests, 2 in Portugal and 1 in Spain. Thus, the Martinhal beach hosted the first of the races, in which a total of 22 athletes from Portugal, Spain, Brazil, the United Kingdom and France participated the latter without scoring for the Iberian Championship. In the general classification of the race, Alex López and Eduardo Navarro were 4th and 6th respectively behind the Brazilian Klayton. the French Fasquelle of the Brtánico Ben Profit and in the case of Navarro also behind Alfie Hart... this is the current classification of the Iberian Windsurf Slalom Championship:

Galardona la Escola Municipal de Vela de Valencia, as a reference for popular sport in Valencia

La Vela de la Comunitat La Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana has been one of the great winners during the Gala of the Municipal Sports Foundation Awards in Valencia. An event chaired by the mayor of Valencia, María José Catalá, and the sports councillor, Rocío Gil, which has recognized the work of athletes, clubs and entities committed to the promotion of sport in the city.

Among the main distinctions, the Municipal Scola de Vela de Valencia, under the coordination of the Federació de Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana, has received the Award for the Entity that has most supported the Popular Sport, consolidating itself as a model of teaching that unites sports initiation, education in values and respect for the environment.
