Fimar closes its fourth edition with a song to the sea in festive and scientific key, with a global visit of 14,000 FIMAR 2025 people he fired this Sunday with a day full of emotion, symbolism, knowledge and commitment to the oceans. Coinciding with World Oceans Day, the last day, it became a tribute to marine life and to all who, from science, leisure or ocean culture, work for its conservation. In parallel, the nautical area maintained its usual bustle. Hundreds of visitors enjoyed the water activities, from the traditional boat rides to the Port of La Luz and the Bay of Las Palmas, to sea baptizes, light sail, minicruceros, pedal skates and the already expected regatta of parents of optimal class, framed in the Benefic Trophy Alejandro Da Silva against leukemia. A solidarity meeting that again demonstrated FIMAR's ability to unite sport and social cause. One of the most crowded points was the Remolcador Miguel de Cervantes, of SASEMAR, where small and larger were able to know the functions of this imposing ship dedicated to maritime rescue. From the early hours of the morning, the Sanapu Pier again became an epicenter of activity, which this year was visited by more than 14,000 people. The public has responded strongly again to FIMAR's call on June 8. The first groups of visitors were already waiting for the opening of the doors of the fair, consolidated as the great meeting for the blue economy in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Island and the Canary Islands, where more than half a hundred nautical and marine companies and about 80 banners have formed the exhibition offer of the event, to which, in addition to the constant transit of the local public, the cruises of the Mein Schiff 6, which were attacked at the Santa Catalina Pier. A cruise from the company TUI Cruises, with capacity for more than 2,500 passengers. All this influx could be immersed in the programming of the last day of FIMAR in a pleasant climate.
