The Optimist team of the School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club took part this weekend in canteen waters in the V Trophy City of Castro Urdiales. Nicolás Bastard won in Optimist sub 16 after six tours, with Andrea Criado second, Andrea Periotto third, Lola Criado fourth and Laura Angulo fifth in the general classification. Joana Bastard, Bruno-varri and Adela Penide also participated, which was imposed in the sub-11 class. In addition, Tomás Trueba and Juan Llano signed up for the victory in the Snipe class, with Silvia Marcé and Joana Abásolo in the second position and first classified female.

Other regatists of the School of Vela, in the classes ILCA and 420, participated in the waters of San Sebastián in the Trophy Euskadiko Kirol Portuak 2025. In class ILCA 4 they sailed Ignacio Buján, who finished tenth, and Fernando Gómez, decimosegundo; and in class 420 Nerea Cereceda and Jon Berástegui, who went up on the podium with their third square, and Maria Urizar and Teresa Ojembarrena, who finished fifths.

The Spanish Cup of Catamaranes ends in Valencian waters

Toni Ballester in Class A Open, Marc Jovani and Maite Copovi in Hobie Cat 16 and Oriol Nuet and Alex Bargallo in Interseries are made with the national title in the event organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia.
