The first international meeting of the Olympic Sprint after the Paris Games could not be better for the interests of the national team. With a consolidated group, plus a new platform of palists from the lower categories, Spain has signed an unbeatable World Cup, in which we have finished in third position of the medallero with three oars, six plates and three bronces.

On the last day of competition, the medal options of our boats were many, but all, except for the 5000-meter tests that were direct endings, had to go through the semifinals. The first presea arrived at the end of the C1 200, where we went
in the hope that Antana Jácome and Viktoria Yarchevska could step on the podium.

After the successful morning, the afternoon was also fruitful as, out of four tests, Spain managed to accumulate the last two metals. The first one of Maria Corbera in the C1 5000, where the madrilela achieved a meritorious silver after entering behind the Hungarian Cosorba, just over 21 seconds and with almost a minute of advantage over the other Hungarian in the test. Ana Cantero, the second Spanish in this final, concluded in the fifth position.

The second was achieved by the Pontevedrés Jaime Duro, who also hung a silver on his chest. He finished second, 16 seconds from the Cuban Pelier Cordova. Sixteenth in this C1 5000 was the Marrileño Diego Domínguez.
