44Cup Porto Cervo starts with good sensations for Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team

The Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team is currently facing its first official participation in the waters of Porto Cervo, as part of the second test of the 44Cup circuit season, one of the most demanding competitions in the world in professional sailing. Yesterday, during the official training day, the team signed an excellent performance, achieving a podium in the second manga of the day.

The races will be held over the next four days in barlovento-sotavento format in front of the port of Porto Cervo, in a field of races where local knowledge and wind reading will be decisive... in this edition, the competition is hardened with the return to a fleet of 11 ships, which was not reached since 2016, and with the presence of world-class regatists such as Francesco Bruni, Vasco Vascotto or Michele Ivaldi.

With 30 registered ships, ranging from a Fury 28 of 8 meters to a DK Farr 52 OD of 16 meters, this 32nd edition will have the following categories: full crew (with three or more crew), A2, Training (for boats on list 6) and Promotion (estimated rating cruises). In addition, the long test, between El Balís and L'Cscale, will be noticeable for the Championship of Catalunya A2.

The Tramuntana Route is part of the Ausmar Regatas Circuit, which already celebrated its first meeting with the Rumbo Ibiza Sal Route in April, will continue in June with Pollença Bay, in September with the Rei in Jaume and will close in November with the Golden Cup Badalona.
