Lanzarote is made with the victory in the Spanish Cup KDM-Concello de Vigo

The Club de Piragüismo Marlines de Lanzarote with a total of 872 points, was proclaimed the winner sbsoluto of the Spanish Cup of Kayak de Mar, which in its second act and with the Trophy Concello de Vigo in play, was held in the Ria de Vigo, based on the old facilities of the ETEA at the foot of the historic Essenada de Rande, and that it had the organization of the Club Marítimo de Vigo and the Club de Piraguismo Olívico and the support of the Federación Gallega y de la Federación Española.
It was two days in which half a mile of palists from almost all over Spain participated, and they competed from the veterans, passing by senior, sub23, youth, cadets, children... as well as in paracanoe; both at the male and female levels in one and two crew boats. At the level of a simply extraordinary environment with more than two thousand spectators, who lived intensively the tests of the younger, it is clear that this sport, which is the most laureate of the Olympism of our country, is not by mere chance... but by a great deal of work from the federal stages and the different clubs.
If the opening day was spectacular, and it had as its protagonist the asturian of Ribadesella, Walter Bouzán by imposing himself in the queen race of Saturday with 15 kometers; in the Sunday day also celebrated with a splendid time the protagonists in the quotation of 6000 meters were two in double game... in male category the tandem Esteban Medina- Victor Javier Rodríguez; and among the ladies Sara Marí-Paula Ruiz... the four of the Club Amigos del Piragüismo of Canarias.
It is necessary that in this hard and demanding race, the second male square was for Jorge Vila- Pablo Santana (Friends of the Canary Islands), teceros Javier López and Eduardo Fajardo de Lanzarote; while in girls the silver was for Yolanda Silveir- Angela González de La Vila Joiosa and the bronze for the Viguesas Nerez Martín and Clara Carrera of Club Kayak Vigo.
The unofficial title of the medallion was won by the Club Amigos del Piragüismo de Canarias with 8 gold, 5 cans and 7 bronze: total 20 metals... followed by the Club de Mar de Mallorca with 5-7-3 and a total of 15 medals. After them the El Sella Sports Club with 10 pieces (5-4-1), the fourth position was for Euskadi, with the Itagain Xumaiako Urola Itasadar Piraguismo Klub, the fifth being the Marlines of Lanzarote.
