Marinas de Andalucía celebrates its Assembly in the Port of Aguadulce

To promote the brand of Andalusia as a nautical destination, to promote the Blue Economy or to strengthen the network of sectoral contacts, among the priorities of the new plan of
Target 2025
The Association of Sports and Tourist Ports of Andalusia, Marinas de Andalucía, held its Annual Assembly in the Puerto Deportivo de Aguadulce. During the meeting, the president of Marinas de Andalucía, Manuel Raigón, and the secretary of the association, Nicolás Figueras, took stock of the activity carried out in the last year, analysing the economic and social impact and defining the strategic objectives for 2025.
The central block of the assembly focused on the objectives for this year 2025 and are recorded in a well-defined road map: to strengthen the network of sectoral contacts, to increase the national and international visibility of the association and of the brand Andalusia as a nautical destination, to promote sustainability in the ports, to promote specialized training, and to improve the channels of communication with the partners.
All this will result in new actions such as assistance to international nautical halls, such as the Palma International Boat Show, the Nautical Hall of La Rochelle or Boot Düsseldorf, the launch of a new website, the recruitment of new partners or the organization of the V Marine Professional Days of Andalusia, among others. Sustainability will have a key role to play, with a focus on the development of sustainability-related initiatives with special attention to the ZEC (Special Protection Areas) close to the associated ports; the conduct of training and awareness-raising seminars or the creation of a Guide to Good Practices.
