Ilca Calella: Cerretelli and Josele Doreeste the best in Ilca7; Carlos Martínez's domain in llca6

The young Italian Lorenzo Cerratelli maintains his engagement with the EurIlca Master of Calella de Palafrugell by winning for the third consecutive year the competition with a 2 + (13) + 2 + 1 + 3 + 1 with a score of 9 points. Repeat second position on the general table a whole gold in Seul '88 in the Finn class, José Luis Doreste with a (24) + 10 + 1 + 3 + 2 + 4 final that has added 20 points. In the third square, Carlos Echavarri has been located today with the same points as the German Roger Schulz, leader in the first day.

That the fleet has a high level for not a few Olympic curiculms and world champions, it is almost obvious to highlight it. What is interesting also to note is that competitiveness in this category Ilca7 is a fact that can be seen in water and, of course, in classification. From the second place achieved by José Luis Doreto to the ninth place of the classification obtained by José Maria van der Ploeg, there have been three points and a triple tie. This bears witness to the great struggle given in these difficult waters of Calella de Palafrugell. In Ilca6 the absolute dominator has again been Carlos Martínez.

Flying Dutchman World Championship in the Gaditan Bay

The Bay of Cadiz hosts over a hundred athletes from eight countries in one of the most demanding competitions. After the success of the European 2024, the Flying Dutchman returns to Puerto Sherry to crown the new world champions.

The Gaditan regatist of the race team Timón de Roche, Pepe Ruiz, along with his partner Fran Martínez, is a Spanish reference in the Flying Dutchman Class and one of the artists of the class's presence on the Gaditan coast. Ruiz, representative of the RCN of Cadiz, and Martínez of the RCN of Torrevieja, champions of the master world in 2021 and the sexts of Europe, form one of the favorite crews in the battle for the world title. The goal does not seem easy in the presence of the best aspirants of the class, as is the case of the German crew formed by Kay-uwe Lüdtke and Kai Schafers of the Yatch Club Hanover, current world champions, or the Hungarians Szalbolcs Majthenyi and Andras Domokos, world champions on more than a dozen occasions and current European champions, title they achieved in October in the Gaditana Bay after an exciting final.

The quinielas include the Dutch Enno Kramer and Ard Geelkerken, the Spanish Gines Romero Bernabeu and Álvaro Moreno Aegea of the Torrevieja RCN, the German crews of Hans- Peter Schwarz / Roland kirst, Killian koenig / Johannes Brack, and Shmuel Markoff / Lars Stöckmann of the Yacht Club Hanover, and Nicola and Francesco Vespasiani of Italy, among others. It also highlights the participation of the Olympic in 470, the German Peggy Bart, and the Olympic veteran with East Germany, Jorn Borowski, who were not in the European. The country that contributes most is Germany with 33 ships, followed by Spain with 9, Netherlands and Italy with 5 each, Poland and Switzerland with 3, Hungary with 2 and 1 ship from the Czech Republic.
