He concluded the fourth act of the J70 Sailway Series with the organization of the Association of the Class J70 of the Atlantic area, as well as the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo; with victory for one of the great favorites: the LaGuardia & Moreira with a crew composed of Gonzalo Araújo no doubt one of the best Galician patterns of all time. Its enormous potential, with two patterns of the Volvo on board: Araujo and Churches.
The Araujo people achieved two partial wins and two third wins... being in the fifth mando, a sixth that they cast off with a worse score. For his part, his two great rivals on this occasion equated as in the case of Marnatura (with a first partial, two seconds, a third and a fourth that they discarded. Finally, the Orensian Jorge Pérez Canal, which is in a splendid line, accumulated 9 points, the product of two first, a third, a fourth and a seventh, which was worth the third on this occasion. Two sleeves had already been held on Sunday and the fleet started with east winds of 7 knots in the area of La Guía the third of the day... but the wind fell down and Jaime García had to do what the books say: to override it... and the provisional results were turned to the edge of one of the afternoon in final.
The podium was therefore shaped by LaGuardia & Moreira (Gonzalo Araújo, Jacobo Vecino, Nicolás Domínguez and Pablo Iglesias), Marnatura (Luis Bugallo, Enrique Iglesias, Yago Osuna and Alfonso Crespo) in the second square and Red April (Jorge Pérez Canal, Eduardo Reguera, José Luis Colmenero and Gonzalo Martínez.
Within the top five were the green aprons, which formed with Luis Pérez Canal, Chapu Torné, Luis de Rocha, Carlos San Martín and Juan de Cominges and in the fifth place Valmy Trader of Marina Coruña... with an exceptional crew that continues to prepare for the Spanish Championship of June... that has to explode at any time: with Chuny Bermudez de Castro, Nico Rodries and Victor Mariño; certainly one of the best that can be gathered in Spain at this time. On April 26 and 27, the next meeting in Vigo waters, which will be the fifth of the J70 Sailway Series.
