Craviotto is the most laureate Spanish sportsman in the history of the Olympic Games, with six metals on its entire track. In addition, it has a palmaris that makes it eligible for one of the most important recognitions of its sports career

The Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo has presented, in time and form, the candidacy of Saul Craviotto Rivero for the Premio Princesa de Asturias de los Sports 2025 for a career full of successes, culminating in its sixth Olympic medal in Paris 2024, and for a personal trajectory that is indistinguishable by constancy, discipline and effort.

Craviotto is a reference both within and outside the sports field, as it embodies the values of fellowship, humility and sacrifice; it has been demonstrated for so many years by his work as an agent of the National Police and his involvement in solidarity causes that reflect his commitment to society and his desire to return to the community part of what he has received throughout his career.

In this way, the Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo meets its desire to get the best sportsman in its history to have the recognition it deserves. For this purpose, the federal body has worked over the last few months to obtain important guarantees to support this candidacy and to serve the jury expert who makes up this distinguished Award to positively assess its application.
