Tenaz is imposed in the fourth act of the Barcelona Winter Series of J70

He finished the fourth event of the Barcelona Winter Series of J70, organized by the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona, with the collaboration of the Société Nautique de Genève, which played the Regate Annuelle in Mer 2025 for the Waszp and J70 classes. The International Barcelona Winter Series will conclude with its fifth and final event from March 21 to 23, which will match the start of the Barcelona Spring Series in J70.

On the J70 exit line, 29 teams from 11 nations competed (France, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, and Spain). After two absent events, the Tenaz of Pablo Garriga returned through the big door, showing a great regularity with a 4th, 1st and 4th in the last sleeve, which the committee had to shorten due to the lack of wind. In the Waszp class, three races were also held, with a clear dominator: Pablo Astiazarán, of the Barcelona RCN, which was imposed with a second and two wins. The second place was for French Hippolyte Gruet, winner of the first manga, followed by a third and a second, leaving only two points from the leader. The podium was closed by the Norwegian Martinius Melleby, with 14 points (5th, 6th and 3rd). The female podium was made up of Sol López, from the Elcano Nautical Center, in second position Liv Haggström of Sweden and the third drawer for the Norwegian Pia Tveita.

The Société Nautique de Genève, club of the Copa América Alinghi Red Bull Racing team, organizes the Regate Annuelle in Mer to meet the requirements that allow you to be in the future Challenge of the Record in the Cup America. To do this, the Swiss club must have organized at least two open sea races with at least two classes different and 10 ships per class. For the second consecutive year, they have chosen Barcelona and the ReaL Club Nautico de Barcelona to carry out this important competition.
