The promises of the candle sail in the Abra in the Regata OptiGetxo
The OptiGetxo Regata, in which you will sail a hundred promises of the Basque candle, is celebrated this weekend in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra. The quote is the second edition in this initial part of the trial calendar organized by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club. Saturday tours will start at 12: 00 and Sunday at 11: 00, with the afternoon award after the classifications are established. They are scheduled in the Open six sleeves, three for each day of competition, the championship being valid whatever the number of tests held.
In the OptiGetxo there will be sub-11, sub-13 and sub-16 points for the Vasca League... in competition a hundred young promises from the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, Nautical Club of Hondarribia, Real Nautical Club of San Sebastian, Nautical Club of Vitoria, Nautical Club of Álava and the Pakea. Nicolás Bastard, Andrea Periotto and Mikel Martínez were in the Abra last year. The event is organized by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club and its School of Vela José Luis de Ugarte, with the collaboration of the Vizcaine and Vasca de Vela Federations, the Getxo City Council and the Bizkaia Foral Diputación.
The fourth event of the Barcelona Winter Series brings together 30 J70 in Catalan waters
The fourth event of the International Barcelona Winter Series of J70 begins, and will end next Sunday with a program of ten tests, with the requirement to perform four sleeves a day maximum... the organization of the Real Club Nautico of Barcelona and will again count a high participation by exceeding the 30 teams registered. The countries to be present in this fourth series are France, Hungary, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, the Netherlands and Spain.
In some previous series, teams such as Tenaz de Pablo Garriga and current Spanish champion or Noticia de Luis M. Cabiedes were not able to participate. J80 League... Galicia's fleet returns to Baiona this Saturday
After two weeks of rest, the fleet of J80 Galician returns on Saturday to Baiona for the second day of the Winter League, a competition in five events organized by the Mount Real Club of Yates with the sponsorship of Baitra Naval Accessories. From two in the afternoon, Baiona Bay will receive three new punctual tests, which will continue to define the classification for the final straight of the championship, which is scheduled to end on April 5.

The Olympic Week 2025 arrives at the Real Regatta Club in Alicante with the ILCA 4 and the WingFoil
The facilities of La Cantera del Real Club de Regatas de Alicante will host from tomorrow until Sunday, a new edition of the Comunitat Valenciana Olympic Week: sail Ilca4 and WingFoil.
55 ships registered, in Ilca 4... with the Spanish Cup champion, Marta Ferrando (RCN Valencia)... her sister Blanca, Optimist World Champion. It will be premiered in Alicante Mateo Carbonell (CN Jávea), absolute bronze and gold for teams at the last World Cup in Optimist, held in Argentina.
For its part the WingFoil class will premiere participation in the Olympic Week in Alicante and will do so with the presence of the entire female podium in the last Spanish Championship held in Sant Antoni de Portmay (Ibiza) and which was formed by the Majorcan Leya Seguí, Neus Pericàs and Valentina Cifré, all of them from the RCN Port de Pollença. The participation of the Valencian Simon Codoñer, the current Spanish subchampion of WingFoil, as well as the world champion and Spain in its 29th stage, and also of Mario Fernández (RCR Alicante), the Australian Oliver Young and the Ukrainians Anton and Platon Kuzmenko, is noteworthy.

Finishes the first phase of the Lanzarote International Regatta 2025 with the 49er as protagonists
The Lanzarote International Regatta 2025 concluded its first phase yesterday, after several days of intense competition in Marina Rubicón. The 49er class offered a vibrant show in Canary waters, consolidating the island as one of the world's epicentres of the Olympic candle.
After a series of very disputed races, the boat of Buksak and Glogowaski was crowned champion, while the other Polish team took second place, Bukowski and Podimi. Thus, the podium was completed by the Americans Mollerus and Bornarth. The best international regatists have shown their skill in a race field that has tested their talent and resistance.
Conrad Konitzer and Anto Torrado have closed their participation in Lanzarote with a great performance, achieving the best place in the general classification among the Spanish crews. Yesterday's day was their best performance so far: they were imposed in the first race, they ended second in the second and they got a fourth and a seventh place in the following two.
