All open for the final day of the Palamós International Optimist Tropical-Nations Cup
The 35th Palamós International Optimist Trophy-19 Nations Cup will be decided on the last day after the first five classified will reach only 3 points of difference between them after three tests held. The penultimate day has been marked by the absence of wind and where it has finally not been possible to dispute any evidence, so despite the attempt of the Committee of Regatas and with the entire fleet in the water, the wind barely reached 5 knots, so the day would end in blank and the classification intact.
In this way the Italian Jasper Karlsen (Fraglia Vela Riva) - European bronze - remains the leader of the general with 9 points, a point of advantage over the also transalpine Francesco Colotto (CN Marina di Carrara), which is second and of the French Hugues Willot (EV Cherbourg), third. Two points from the podium, with 12 points are the Spanish Juan Lleonart (CN El Balís), fourth and the French Clara Zunquin (Régates de Royan), which is the fifth of the general and the first female. From there, Lluc Garces (CN L'Escalo) is sixth in the general, the Swedish Alexander Forssen (RSYC KSSS), seventh; the Dani Capa (CN S'Estanyol), eighth; the Croatian Vita Erceg, ninth and the Alicantino Alejandro Valero (RCR Alicante), tenth, closing the Top Ten to 7 points of the leader.
In the case that this Sunday, the last day of the Palamós Optimist Trophy, could be disputed at least a test, the game would enter a discard, which could radically change the classification and give many options to Juan Lleonart to assault the lead, as it adds up to a tenth and two first.

In the Maritime Social Trophy only the J80 score
The II Social Trophy for J80 class cruises and ships, organized by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club, began with a summer day in the middle of winter in which only the J80 division ships, which completed two tours, were marked. The Committee had to override the tests of the Regata and Cruise classes because the wind fell a lot. The crews did start sailing with 16 knots from the south, but after three-quarters of an hour without wind the test ended at this championship start.
The boats that did sail were the J80 class, with a lead for the Biobizz of José Azqueta with a second position and a first (3 points). Taken in the second position at 6 points are the Rural Kutxa of Peru Abásolo - winner of the first route - and the Brut of Juan Mocoroa. The Silvia Marcé Surne, José Luis Ribed's Team Group Engineering, Pablo Gomeza's Obelix and Igartxe Berasategui's Ausart are then classified. The following quotes from this II Social Trophy will take place on 1 and 15 March.
