Víctor Bou and Maria Meseguer, leaders of Flamingo's Race Optimist in San Pedro del Pinatar
The Flamingo's Race Optimist closes its first day, of the three planned by the organizing committee and does so with 53 regatists who have met at the CN Villa de San Pedro. A first delivery in which the three-test program has been completed, thanks to wind conditions which, while starting with a few 6 knots on a 170º axis, has ended with 9 in the 190º. Much level and quality in San Pedro, and this is reflected by the provisional general, with the Alicantino Víctor Bou (RCR Alicante) as leader, although that first square shares it with Maria Meseguer (CN Santiago de la Ribera). They both close the day tied to 17 points.
