Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team starts its participation in the 44Cup with illusion and commitment

The Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team has started its way in the 44Cup 2025, facing the first official training in Nanny Cay. As the only Spanish representative in the competition, the team faces this season with the aim of consolidating itself into one of the most demanding classes on the international scene.

One of the first challenges has been official weighing, a key test in which the whole must be kept below 730 kg to comply with the regulations of the class RC44. The planning and balance between experience and youth have allowed the team to overcome this requirement without inconvenience.

This year, the Lanzarote Calero Sailing Team presents a renewed team that maintains its commitment to local talent, with six Lanzaroteños regatists on its crew. Among them is Ana Hernández, a navigator and a leber, who faces his first season in the 44Cup. Its incorporation reinforces the team's commitment to the projection of new values in high-level sailing.
