The candidate Alfredo Bea has won in the last battle for the Spanish of Piragüismo... now the TAD will have the word

The Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo reports that the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD) has decided to partially estimate the appeal submitted by Mr José Alfredo Bea García, acting on his own behalf and as President of the Galician Federation of Piragüismo, against the Resolution of the Electoral Board of this Federation dated 25 January 2025, by which he proclaimed Mr Javier Hernanz Agüería as President of the Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo.

The TAD has decided to annul this resolution with regard to the proclamation of Mr Javier Hernanz Agüería as president, and has ordered the electoral process to be retracted for the election of President of the Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo to the moment before the deadline for the submission of nominations.

The resolution issued on the morning of this Friday, 7 February, states that "it is final on the administrative track and provides that the Electoral Board shall proceed in accordance with the provisions of the TAD. In the event of a breach of the decision, an administrative appeal may be lodged with the Administrative Chamber of the Madrid High Court of Justice within two months of its notification."

The Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo reiterates its commitment to respect for legality and transparency in all its electoral procedures and processes, and will continue to work to ensure the proper functioning of the Federation and the representation of the interests of the community of Piragüismo.
