The CN Sevilla revalidates the title of champion of the Ranking of the Andalusian Clubs for the third year in a row, thus bringing up to its showcase the seventeenth trophy that attests to the great campaign carried out in recent months, merit to which contributes the long list of successes of its regatists. The victory in the last three years is in addition to those achieved in the years 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2010.2011, 2012, 2017 and 2022, making it the most laureate club in Andalusia, giving up that honor in only three editions.
On this occasion the CN Sevilla is imposed on the CN Puerto Sherry, club that rises from the fourth to the second place with respect to the previous edition, and the CM Almería that remains third. A total of 910 points of difference support the victory of the Spanish club over the portuense, which in turn wins by 407 points over the almerian club.
The so-called "gold" group that form the ten best clubs of the autonomous ranking, is completed with the CNM Benalmádena in fourth place, followed by the RC El Candado, the RC Mediterranean, the RCN of The Line of Conception that rises two posts, the RCMT Punta Umbria, the RCN of Motril and the CN El Trocadero that access the first group to close it. The first club in the 'silver' group is the RCN of Cadiz with only 178 points less than the Puerto Rican club.
In the Abra de Vizcaya an extensive League of the Snipe class begins
The José Luis de Ugarte School of Selling of the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club continues with its calendar in the specialty of light sailing. This time is the turn of the Snipe League, which begins on Saturday February 8 in the Abra with its first tours in a test that will be developed throughout almost every month of the year, interspersed with the usual dates of the season. The 18 scheduled tests will be divided into the Winter League (until April 13), Spring League (until the July 6 meeting) and Autumn League (with the end of November 30).
The Snipe class has an interesting fleet at the Las Arenas club, proof of this was the representation of the Las Arenas club, four regatist- at the Buenos Aires World Cup last year. By history, this is one of the most appreciated classes in the Abra. For several decades of the last century there was a very prominent fleet in the Club that sailed in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra, the venue of this Snipe League. In addition, in this class one of the most sound achievements of the Basque candle was given. In 1957, Juan Manuel Alonso-Allende and Gabriel Laiseca, two regatists of the Abra Maritime won the World Championship in the Portuguese town of Cascais with the Guadalimar... the first world title for our country.
