First leaders of the Light Sailing League of the Puerto Sherry Nautical Club

Last Saturday the first edition of the Light Sailing League, which organizes the CN Puerto Sherry for the Techno, Open Foil, 420, Snipe, Raceboard and Catamaran classes, began in the waters of Cadiz Bay. The day was marked by ponyant winds between 8 and 10 knots of intensity with some 12 streak.

The winners were Olivia Sánchez and Nicolás Parrado, of the CN Sevilla, in Techno Sub 15; Beltrán Parrado (CN Sevilla) and Inés Vázquez- Reina (CN Puerto Sherry) in Techno Sub 17; Lucía Guardiola (CN Puerto Sherry) in Open Foil; the crew of the CN Puerto Sherry formed by Josete Ruiz and Vicente Hernández in 420; the one composed of Luis Galnares and Alejandra Unzueta (CN Puerto Sherry) in Snipe; Vicente Ignacio Orts (CV Dársena) in Raceboela (CN-6) in Seville; and Juan Luis Oriamaran (CN) in Seville. All Windsurf classes played two tests, and one more the rest of the classes.

The first League of Light Sailing will take place in eight days, following the start of this Saturday, the following quotes will be on March 8, April 5, May 17, June 28, August 8, September 13, October 11, November 15 and December 13. The organization will distribute to the fleet in two large areas of race, where up to three tests per day will be scheduled for each of the participating classes.
