A renewed Light Sailing League of the Puerto Sherry Nautical Club, on stage
The first Liga de Vela Ligera (Liga de Vela Ligera), which will be held between February and December 2025 under the organization of the CN Puerto Sherry, is born in the Gaditana Bay, with the collaboration of the Andalusian Federation of Vela and the sponsorship of Puerto Sherry and Carex Logistic.
From Saturday, February 1, the CN Puerto Sherry unifies the previous leagues of classes 420, Catamaran and Windsurf, extending the competition to classes ILCA (4.6 and 7) and Snipe.
The first League of Light Sailing will take place in eight days, following the start of this Saturday, the following quotes will be on March 8, April 5, May 17, June 28, August 8, September 13, October 11, November 15 and December 13. The organization will distribute to the fleet in two large areas of race, where up to three tests per day will be scheduled for each of the participating classes.
With this new league, the CN Puerto Sherry strengthens its commitment to light sailing, offering a stable schedule of competitions and encouraging the participation and preparation of young regatists.
