Spanish Piraguismo Federation: Bea denounces Hernanz
The President of the Galician Federation of Piragüismo, José Alfredo Bea García, has presented a
complaint against Javier Hernanz Agüería, president of the Real Federación Española de Piragüismo (RFEP), and Primitivo-Ramón Vega Álvarez, general director and legal adviser of the same institution.
The complaint is based on the alleged commission of very serious offences under article 104.2.a of Law 39 / 2022 and article 76.2 of Law 10 / 1990.
The facts in the complaint include:
1. Inadequate intervention in the electoral process: Hernanz would have used the RFEP resources for his personal benefit during the electoral process, including meetings with clubs and sending messages to athletes requesting support for their candidacy.
2. Insufficient use of the electoral vouchers: El Presidente habría presentado cartas de support fechadas antes de su dimisión como presidente de la Comisión Gestora, evidentando un presunta abuso de su posición.

4. Violation of the principle of neutrality: According to the Administrative Court of Sport (TAD), irregularities were found that the transparency and equity of the process. This complaint requests the CSD to urge the Administrative Court of Sport to to open a penalty file to investigate and, where appropriate, to punish the reported facts. The possible sanctions include the removal of the charges involved, following similar precedents.
