The Spaniards pray for glory in Auckland with a great second position

The Spanish team of SailGP finished second in Auckland, after Australia and ahead of the Emirates GBR, after a great weekend
After the second event of the season, Spain is fourth in the general ranking, only one point from New Zealand and Britain, leaders of the competition and tied to points with third parties, Australians.

The third Grand Prix of the Rolex SailGP 2025 Season Championship will be the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix, which will be held on February 8 and 9.

On a day with four sleeves, the Spanish team of SailGP closed the first day of competition with 26 points, third ranked behind Australia and Britain.

At the end of the first day of the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix Auckland, the Spain SailGP Team is third in the event classification with 26 points, only two less than Emirates GBR, which is second with 28. Tomorrow Sunday the Spaniards will fight two more sleeves to try to be in the Grand Final.
