There was magic in the Abra again. It was facilitated in the closing of the calendar of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club with one of the most special races of each season: the Regata del Gallo, which has allowed for 40 years a spectacular and very photographed image in the Vizquino sport with almost a hundred boats and 500 regatists passing under the Pendant Bridge at the exit.

They won the Akelarre de Mauricio Guibert in the Regata class, which repeated last year's triumph; the Turi of Simon Cortés in Cruise I; the Kohen of Juan Carlos Estefanía in Cruise II; and the Biobizz of José Azqueta in the J80 division after a very close day with little south-west wind on the magical exit. Kohen and Biobizz, like the Akelarre, also republished victory.

The current facilitated the departure of the ships from the dársena of the Benedicta, which at the entrance to the Abra followed with little north-west wind that only reached up to 8 knots, so only 17 ships entered the time limit set by the Regatas Committee.
