For Kimpton Hotels by Joan Cardona the second act of the J70 Barcelona Winter Series
The Kimpton Hotels team of the Olympic medalist Joan Cardona has won the second event of the Barcelona Winter Series, held this weekend in the waters of Barcelona, organized by the Reial Club Nàutic of Barcelona. The Barcelona Winter Series will continue next January with the third event.

Pablo Astiazarán and Liv Häggström, winners of the second Barcelona Failing Winter Series event
The second event of the Barcelona Failing Winter Series 2024-2025, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona (RCNB) in collaboration with Renting Ribs and Waszp Esp, has successfully concluded this weekend with the races held in the race field in front of the valley of the Besós River. The great winners have been Pablo Astiazarán in the male and Swedish category Liv Häggström in the female, who have shown an excellent competitive level along the eight trials disputed.
The events 3 and 4 of the Barcelona Failing Winter Series will be held next February, giving continuity to the promotion of Barcelona as a reference of the modalities with fire.
The 48 Palamós Christmas Race will open the 29th EuroCup 2025
The Palamós Christmas Race, an international race to be held from 18 to 22 December in the waters of Palamós Bay, will open for the second consecutive year the 29er EuroCup circuit, which this season will include 11 races on the European continent.
The EuroCup circuit will have the following stages: Palamós (December), Valencia (February), JK Jadro Koper- Slovenia (March), Carnon- France (April), GKSS- Sweden (May), Kamperland / Roompot- The Netherlands (May), Lake Lipno - Czech Republic (May), Kieler Woche- Germany (June), Alsóörs- Hungary (September), Warnemunde - Germany (October) and Lake di Garda- Italy (November).
The Palamós Christmas Race will participate in a total of 36 ships of class 29er, 24 in male and mixed category and 12 in female. In the male category will be in Palamós the third in the 29th EuroCup 2024 Swiss crew of Ilke Huber and Liam Berger. In the last edition, the winners in the 29th class in the Christmas Race were the Dutch Tjid Wildeboerd and Lars Van den Berg and the Italian Victoria Demurtras and Caroline Karlsen.
In addition to the 29er class the classes participating in the Palamós Christmas Race are ILCA 4, ILCA 6 Male and Female, 420 Male and Joint and Female.
