The young promises of the José Luis de Ugarte School of Sailing sail once again this weekend a few days before the winter season is fully presented, if it has not already done so for the last seasons. This Saturday and Sunday, on the one hand, is the traditional Christmas Trophy - St. John's. George's British International School Bilbao of light sailing, organized by the Royal Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club at the end of its calendar. It will be the farewell of another season for your School of Sailing, whose representatives have continued with their progression in the various tests held throughout the year 2024 in many places.
This Christmas Trophy is programmed on a double-day basis in the Vizcaina waters of the Abra with three routes scheduled by the Regatas Committee for each of the two days. It takes place in the Optimist, Ilca, 420, FEVA and Snipe classes. The winners of a test that always means the end of the competitions in this speciality will be known after them. The tours of this Christmas Trophy - St. John's. George's British International School Bilbao is scheduled to start on Saturday at 12.30 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m.

In addition, following its postponement by the adverse weather conditions of the last weekend, it is held on Saturday at the Abra the third and last day of the II Dental Clinical Trophy Carmen Parra, for the boats of the Regata class, Cruise and J80. This test is one of the last of the calendar scheduled each year by the Maritime, as then only the expected Regata del Gallo will be missing. After the two previous days are leaders the Rural Kutxa of Peru Abásolo in the J80 division; the Maitena of Mikel Emaldi in the Regata class; the Bacilon of José Miguel Franco in Cruise I; and the Kohen of Ander Estefania in the Cruise class II.
